It has been a whirlwind launching this business and I appreciate your support. Ecomorphosis offers two main services.

Comprehensive Home Sustainability Audit

Want to be more sustainable, but feel overwhelmed? Let us demystify the greenwashing for you. The 90 minute consultation will look at everything in your home from energy efficiency, transportation, recycling to reuse. Only $99 dollars! Includes a 30 minute video call follow up to check on your progress.

Services

Want to talk about something specific? We can do that too. If you are considering adding solar to your home, switching to an electric vehicle, or want help designing a pollinator friendly yard, we can spend the whole 90 minutes talking about that. If it relates to home sustainability, we can hone in on it. After the in-home audit, you will receive a report of all the recommendations that were discussed.

Reduce Clutter Consignment

Some may be wondering: why resale consignment? Does that really help the planet? The answer: it absolutely does! With this service, you will have an initial virtual consultation with us to see if you have items that will resell. Then we will come to your home, pick up those items, and anything that sells will be a 40-60 profit split! Anything that does not sell after 90 days, will be donated, upcycled, or recycled.

Selling good used items via consignment helps reduce the need for new items, and creates a more circular economy. Right now, consumer goods that are purchased new often end up in a linear economy: Purchased>Used for a while>Thrown Away. Reselling items that are still good, that you aren't using, helps earn both you, and my small business money, while getting those items to someone who will actually use them. Hence, enhancing the economy with circularity. Items are listed locally and within the United States. Items sold locally help drastically reduce the environmental impact of shipping, but even used items shipped within the United States have a lower environmental impact than a new item that often went through manufacturing and shipping from overseas.

What Items Are Accepted?

Generally speaking, Ecomorphosis will accept household items in good condition. Any kitchen tool the size of a microwave or smaller, used electronics in working condition, shoes, bags, some home décor and certain clothing (especially name brands, seasonal staples, unique items, and classic apparel).

We will be less picky than Plato's (if you know, you know), and more picky than your neighborhood thrift store.

Since the goal is for both of us to profit, the virtual consultation will determine if this service is right for you. Pictured here is an item that Ecomorphosis recently sold for $25. A hand-knitted wool Ecuadorian sweater found a new home to a local buyer here in Cincinnati! Which items are accepted for resale consignment are up to the sole discretion of Ecomorphosis.
